I slept many of restless nights just thinking about those darn insects and how they robbed me of countless activations. Now, here again I have to wonder what now does the main frame computer say is the reason why they never heard me in those past activations.
Trying to decipher all data from countless possablities was nerve racking and by putting it through the main frame computer is the only way I would have ever thought of this one. But could this be a mistake ? And how could it pick out this answer from the thousands of others that were fed into it ? Well , only time tested out to be in agreement with the computer , as you know the computer is always right.
As I reached down for my Peanut Butter and Jelly sandwich it finally came to me. If you look at this you will know for sure what has happened.
What the heck was happening here ? Yeah that could be me eating there...but it could be you also. What could this have to do with missing activations I thought ? Then it dawned on me !!!
It wasn't the fact that we were eating at the radio , oh no , it was more than that ! As I look down at my microphone there was the evidence , crumbs ..... yes crumbs ... they were clogging up all the little holes in the head of the mic !!!
No wonder they couldn't hear us , we must of sounded like something that came from Spa.. on triple 5 ! I can just hear it now on the receiving end ....Clump.....Scrunch .... Scratch...Scratch... Clump...Clump....Scrunch ! Hey we sounded like the "Pillsberry Dough Boy ".
C'Mon we know it has happened to you as well ! We know I'm not the only one eating at the radio... check it out yourself ... see .....there is crumbs in your mic as well and that's why they never heard you as well !
I told you the computer does not lie ! When it came out that there was something to do with our microphone , It never entered into my mind that that's what was stopping us from reaching those activations. That's it now I'm putting a diaper over my mic to keep those crumbs from entering and messing up me from reaching those activations! CQ CQ do you read me clear Now ?
